Barbara Smith

     Barbara Grace Smith, age 66, of Forest City, NC passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at Henderson Care Center.

     Barbara was born Thursday November 29, 1956, in Rutherford County to Josephine White who resides in Forest City, and the late Furman Howard Henson, Sr. Barbara was always happy. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother. Barbara was a member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

     In addition to her father, Barbara was preceded in death by a brother Furman Howard Henson Jr.

     Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Josephine White, her daughter Christy Smith; her son, Brian Smith; and two grandchildren, Keira Smith and Casey Blake Bowen.
