Benjamin "Benjy" Lee Sane, Jr.

     Benjamin “Benjy” Lee Sane, Jr. age 56, of Ellenboro, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2026.

     Benjy was born Tuesday, December30, 1969 in Rutherford County, to the late Benjamin Lee Sane, Sr. and Barbara Harris Sane. Benjy spent most of his life working as a small engine mechanic. He battled throat cancer for a long time. Benjy loved riding motorcycles and being outdoors; most of all he loved raising his bulldogs. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Brandon Sane.

     Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Debbie Sane; twin sons, Benjamin Lee Sane, III, and Zackery Sane; a niece Emily Sane; a godmother, Gloria Shehan; numerous cousins and his beloved bulldog, Penny.

     There will be a memorial service held on Friday, September 25th from 2 – 5pm at 109 Red Barn Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040.
