Floyd Pate, Jr.

Floyd Steward Pate, Jr., age 72, of Rutherfordton, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022, at his residence.

Floyd was born Sunday, March 19, 1950, in Rutherford County to the late Floyd Steward Pate, Sr. and Dora Ann Silvers Pate.  Floyd worked in textiles most of his life.  He loved to do yard work.  Floyd will be missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Floyd was preceded in death by three brothers, Lloyd Carroll, William Harold, and Henry Keith Pate.

Those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Bobby Gene Pate (Janice),  a sister Diana Ramsey, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
