Fred Lee Braun, Jr.

     Fred “Freddie” Lee Braun, Jr., age 38, of Bostic, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024, at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

     Freddie was born Tuesday, March 25, 1986, in San Bernardino, California to Jodie Dee Nelson Braun who resides in Bostic, NC, and Fred Lee Braun, Sr, who resides in Oakboro, NC.

     Freddie loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed tearing down and rebuilding automobiles. He loved riding and fixing dirt bikes. Freddie loved trees, which is why he enjoyed the job he had trimming trees. Freddie was a great son and will be missed by his family and friends.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Jodie Dee Braun; father, Fred Lee Braun Sr., and stepmom Scarlett; children, Madison Braun, Caydence Braun, Freddy Braun and Aubrey Braun; brothers, Adrian Nelson, and Chase Smith; and a sister, Krysta Braun.

     There will be a funeral service conducted at 5:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church with Reverend Chad Sisk and Reverend Bryan Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the time of the service at the church.
