George Willie Goode

     George Goode, born February 28, 1961, in Rutherford, North Carolina, passed away on September 2, 2026, and went home to be with God. He leaves behind family and loved ones who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

     George was the husband of Teresa Goode and the father of three surviving children, George Forest Goode, Melissa Carter, and Christopher Goode. He was also a grandfather to 10 grandchildren and a great-grandfather to 9 great-grandchildren.

     George was preceded in death by his parents, Rockfort Goode and Barbara Goode, and his brother, Ray Goode. He is survived by his brother, Hershal Goode.

     George’s life was filled with both joys and struggles, memories and experiences that shaped his journey. Though his passing brings sadness and many emotions, his memory will live on through the family he leaves behind and the generations that follow.

     Rest in peace, George. May you be at peace in God’s loving arms. You will be remembered and never forgotten.
