Glenda Sue Baucom

     Glenda Sue Baucom, 74, of Rutherfordton, NC, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, following a long battle with dementia. 

     Glenda attended the nursing program at Central Piedmont Community College and went on to work as an underwriter in the insurance industry. She is predeceased by her parents, Zella Price and Robert Anderson, and is survived by two children, Joseph Rogers of Rutherfordton, NC, and Michelle Williamson of Mt. Dora, FL, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, as well as sisters, nieces, and nephews. 

     Glenda was known for her sense of humor and her love for decorating. Her family would like to thank the Willow Ridge Rehabilitation and Living Center staff for their love and compassion for Glenda and all in their care.

      In lieu of flowers, the family asks for any donations to be made to Hospice of Rutherford County.

      A private memorial for immediate family will be held in April.
