James Allen Flowers

    James Allen Flowers, age 64, of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at his residence.

     James was born Monday, May 11, 1959, in Catawba County to the late Frank Flowers and Geneva Breakfield Flowers. James loved spending time with his family. He was a jokester, and he will be missed by his family and friends.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two siblings Avery Flowers and Forrest Flowers.

     Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Janie Flowers; stepson, Jimmy Morrison (Dawn); brothers, Glenn Flowers (Lynn), Joe Flowers (Donna), Frank Flowers (Lori), George Flowers (Kathy), Earl Flowers, and Bobby Flowers; one sister Lois Flowers; two grandchildren, Caitlin Morrison and Thomas Morrison, also a host of nieces, and nephews.

     There will be a service held at a later date.
