Joyce Lee Foster

     Joyce Lee Foster, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully at her residence on December 19, 2025. Born on February 1, 1942, Joyce lived a life full of passion and dedication, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing her.

     Joyce was a proud high school graduate of the class of 1960. Throughout her career, she worked diligently in various textile plants and excelled in secretarial work. Her unwavering work ethic and commitment to her roles were evident in every task she undertook, reflecting her character and perseverance.

     A faithful member of Sandy Run Baptist Church, Joyce found solace and strength in her faith, cherishing the community that surrounded her within the walls of the church. She inspired others with her spirit and her devotion, embodying the compassion and kindness that is the heart of her church family.

     Joyce's hobbies brought her joy and fulfillment. She was an avid dancer, with a love for movement that sparked joy not just in her but in those who had the pleasure of watching her grace the floor. Additionally, her talent for gardening and landscaping was well known; her green thumb transformed her surroundings into a vibrant canvas of colors and fragrances, a testament to her nurturing nature.

     Joyce will be deeply missed by her loving family, including her daughters, Angela Jones Butler and Robin Denise Segers, and her granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Butler, as well as her great-granddaughter, Alayla Faith Camp. She shared a special bond with her brothers, Steven Douglas Lovelace and Timothy Gene Lovelace, who will carry her memory with them always.

     Joyce was preceded in death by her cherished parents, Evans Lovelace and Madge Whisnant Lovelace, whose love and guidance shaped the remarkable person she became. Their legacy of love will continue to live on through the family and friends she leaves behind.

     A Celebration of Life service will be held on January 24, 2026, at Sandy Run Baptist Church in Mooresboro, NC, beginning at 11:00 AM. All who knew Joyce are invited to join in honoring her life and sharing cherished memories.

     As we remember Joyce Lee Foster, let us celebrate the love she shared, the memories she created, and the lasting impact she made on our lives. May her spirit live on in our hearts forever.
